Team Montenotte Hotel Under 18 Ladies (above) were runners up in the 2008 Women’s Under 18 National Cup title at the National Basketball Arena.

U18 team progress to Cup Final after sensational comback: the U18 team defeated Dart Killester 74 to 73 in a game that saw Team Montenotte Hotel/Glanmire trail by 10 point with only 2.08 on the clock. Orla O' Reilly shone throughout the match but particularly in the final minutes when she scored 10 of the 11 points needed to claim the victory hitting the crucial winning basket with only 6 seconds remaining on the clock. U18 team progress to Cup Semi Finals: the U18 team claimed victory over Wildcats on Dec.2nd and progressed to the National Cup semi final. This squad which still has five players from last years victorious cup team and three international players started slowly and gradually increased pace and momentum as the game developed. V. O' Driscoll had an outstanding game under the boards with 18 points with S. O' Reilly and O. O'Reilly claiming 9 and 8 points respectively.

U18 Team Montenotte Hotel progress to National Cup quarter final after topping the first round playoffs: The Under 18 Team had three outstanding victories in the National Cup first round playoffs on Sept. 23rd and 24th, 2007. The team defeated Team Kerry 80-44 (V. O' Driscoll-19pts, S. O' Reilly-14pts, C. Twomey-11pts), Sligo All Stars 79-37 (V. O' Driscoll-18pts, C. Grace-12pts, K. O'Connell-8pts) and UL Aughinish 98-29 (O.O' Reilly-19pts, V. O' Driscoll-18pts, C. Twomey-15pts). The Under 18 Team now progress to the National Cup quarter finals where they will meet Tolka Rovers or Brunell.

The undefeated U18 team of 2006/7 who were victorious in all games played in the 2006/7 season. This team were crowned Cork Area League Winners, Cork Area Cup Winners and Winners of the inaugural U18 National Cup.
